Fake Divisi

Experimental. Performs the "Transposition trick" under the hood, by using neighboring samples and re-pitching them up/down to match the expected pitch. Doesn't sound great in isolation but can be useful as a layer.

Articulation Grid

Click or keyswitch to change between articulations. ALT + CLICK to purge. (LED turns red)

Different colour tiles represent different articulation categories - which will make more sense once the full version is out.

Performance Options

Use keyswitches to override the automatic playback behaviour. You can force repetitions, non-repetitions, and alternative (slightly messy) sample options

Variations

Variations are another dimension to the playback behaviour, which can be overruled via keyswitch or clicking on an option.

Latch Mode

Toggle between Latch or Momentary mode for keyswitches. Momentary keyswitches will revert back to the previous articulation once the keyswitch is let off.

Articulation Settings

Click the wrench/spanner button to show more settings for the active articulation. The "Piano Keys" page shows the Performance Options page with keyswitches (as shown in this image)

Keyswitch Value

Drag Up/Down or type in a new note value for the keyswitch. It will be reflected on the grid tile.

Sample Start Offset

Set's the amount of time (ms) before the "pre-note" or transient. This value is global across all articulations in this patch, allowing you to set a single negative track delay.

Attack / Release

Standard ADSR controls for envelope attack and release.

Mic Toggle

Click to purge or load mic positions

Pan & Width

For Main, Ambient, and Mids, these knobs will be for Stereo Width, and Panning of the stereo channel. For the Close mics, this is offered as 2 independent Mono sources.

Mic position diagram

A visual representation of where the mics were located for each signal.

Channel EQ

Each channel has its own dedicated 3-band EQ. SHIFT + Click the EQ button to disable/enable ALL channel EQs at once. A dark overlay is visible when EQ is inactive for that channel.

Channel Output

Select from a list of available plugin outputs

Dynamic Scaling

Drag up to raise the dynamic floor, drag down to lower the dynamic ceiling. CTRL + Click to reset back to full range.

CC Scaling

Click to toggle On/Off. Controls the dynamic scaling slider with MIDI CC, allowing for automation in your MIDI track.

Velocity Thresholds

MIDI velocity values to show where each dynamic begins

Dynamic Layers

Dynamic markings to show how many real dynamic layers are available for the active articulation

Dynamic Control Type

Switch between Velocity or Modwheel for control over dynamics

Con Sordino

Simulates Con Sordino (mutes) on the strings.

Reverb

Basic reverb controls. Click to turn On/Off

Mix Presets

Pre-loaded with a few factory mix presets. You can also save/delete your own presets.

Solo / Mute

These buttons mirror the same buttons on the Mixer
